Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
1. Services
Boxcut Studio provides software development services on a subscription basis. Our services include web application development, dashboard creation, portal development, and related software services as described on our pricing page.
2. Subscription Terms
Subscriptions operate on a 30-day billing cycle starting from your subscription date. You may pause or cancel your subscription at any time. When you pause, billing stops and the unused days of the current cycle are credited to your next invoice when you resume.
If the subscription is not a fit in your first seven calendar days, you may request a refund of 75% of that month's subscription fee. The remaining 25% covers onboarding and work already delivered.
After the first week, refunds are not provided for the current billing cycle. You may pause or cancel anytime; unused days are credited when you pause.
Payment is by card through Stripe, or by invoice where agreed in writing. Where a separate signed agreement exists, its terms take precedence over these terms.
3. Intellectual Property
Code, designs, and deliverables created specifically for you during your subscription belong to you once the applicable billing cycle is paid.
Boxcut Studio keeps ownership of its pre-existing materials, general tools, templates, and reusable components, including improvements to them. Where these form part of your deliverables, you receive a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, modify, and run them as part of your software.
Open-source and third-party components remain subject to their own licences. No licensing fees or ongoing royalties apply to your deliverables.
4. Support and Maintenance
Bug fixes for work delivered by Boxcut Studio are included while your subscription is active. When you pause or cancel, your software keeps running in your accounts, and bug fixes, security patches, and maintenance resume when you resubscribe. Out-of-hours or guaranteed response support is not included unless agreed in writing.
5. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing timely feedback, necessary access to systems, and clear requirements for requested work. Delays caused by lack of client response do not pause your billing cycle unless you formally request a pause.
6. Limitation of Liability
Unless a separate signed agreement sets a different limit, Boxcut Studio's liability is limited to the fees paid during the current billing cycle. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or deliverables.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
